I was on my way from Baton Rouge to Kansas and had been looking for a coffee shop early in the morning. I read reviews for all the coffee shops from Baton Rouge to Alexandria and this place really sounded great so I decided to pass Lafayette and all the small towns until I came to this one. There are a lot of one way streets around this down town area but it wasn't to hard to find this shop. The staff was very kind and was knowledgeable when it came to his products. He catered to my vegan needs and was very kind as he talked with me about my trip as he worked. I'll definitely stop here again on future trips.

So I just wanna say how much I love Legal Grounds. Both locations are awesome but the new spot is wonderful! Super laid back atmosphere. The art work is lovely. The employees are friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. I love all the variety of coffee they have to offer. I was able to sit peacefully and get some work done. Also, at the new location there’s a drive through! No need to get out if you are in a hurry. This place is my jam
